This book was published in 1888 to cash in on the success of Hoffmann's Modern Magic. Illustrated throughout, it is an interesting and scarce example of a Hoffmann imitation.
 
Condition: Fair/poor, a well worn copy, covers worn and knocked, endpapers split with half of front endpaper missing, boards attached, but loose, inscriptions, creasing and foxing to endpapers, marks to page edges but pages otherwise fairly clean.
