This is the D. Robbins hardback edition of the famous series of photographic lessons first published separately between 1946 and 1954. This incredible book features some of the finest magicians of the time explaining great close-up magic routines. It includes lessons from Dai Vernon, Slydini and John Scarne amongst others.  Photographically illustrated throughout, it's an essential book for close-up workers. The photographic reproduction in these Robbins editions is not as clear as in the originals or the current edition (available here), but still sufficient to learn from.
