David Devant's illusions captivated thousands of audience members during his career working with the Maskelyne family. Towards the end of his performing life he published this book describing the methods behind many of his tricks and illusions with additional contributions from many of his fellow stage magicians. Contains many photographs showing Devant's famous effects.
