One of the best accessible histories of magic ever written (it's not really about Paul Daniels). A great read, profusely illustrated and brilliantly indexed. Full of superb colour reproductions of magic posters. No magic library is complete without one. 
 
Condition: Fair, a well-read copy with some parked pages and yellow pages, wear to boocloth, wear and creasing to dust jacket, a good reference copy.
