Scarce 1919 edition of one of the famous (or infamous) "Yellow Peril" series of books from C. Arthur Pearson. Full of photographically illustrated card sleights and fascinating magic adverts from the time. You can read more about this series of books here.
Condition: Fair, almost all of the spine paper has been lost as is typical of this series, front board has been reattached with paper tape, previous owner's stamps present, binding feels loose but pages still bound, boards worn.
