This early compilation of recreational activities includes a contribution conjuring by Professor Hoffmann, an essay on Robert-Houdin and his time in Algeria by J. N. Maskelyne and one on Spiritualism by Dr. Stradling. An interesting piece of magic history.
 
Condition: Poor, binding failed with some pages loose, spine cloth split with crude repairs, tape repairs to end papers, parks and foxing with some creasing a wear to pages. A good candidate for rebinding.
