This early book is mainly dedicated to wonders of nature and buildings of the ancients, but it also includes some magic-ajacent passages including on on Indian Fakirs and one on The Hermit of the Pillar. It comes from a magician's library, so these are likely the reason it was collected by them.

 

Condition: Good, marks and wear to bookcloth, dedication to front endpaper, some foxing and marks throughout with occasional creases.
