This was a pioneering book on magic with tricks by T. Nelson Downs, Charles Bertram, Chas. O. Williams and many others. Included superb photographs. Scarce edition of one of the famous (or infamous) "Yellow Peril" series of books from C. Arthur Pearson. Full of great tricks and fascinating magic adverts from the time.
 
Condition: Fair, better than average for this title with boards still attached, though worn and marked (including name written to top of front cover). Spine paper mostly detached and missing. Internal condition good with some marks, creasing and yellowing.
