This is an extremely rare true first edition of 13 Steps, the UK version, published six years earlier than the first US edition. This was published in 1960/1, though is often wrongly listed as 1958 as this is the date on the first title page (the date the first step was published). Arguably the finest book on mentalism produced. In thirteen steps Corinda guides the reader through the primary styles and techniques needed to become an effective mental magician. Section topics include the swami, billets, blindfolds, muscle reading, telepathy, publicity stunts and more. An essential part of any magician's library. 
 
Condition: Very good with fair dust jacket. Dust jacket has a browned spine and some foxing, some small tears and creases to edges, two longer tears which have been professionally repaired with Japanese Tissue to the inside. Book itself has some marks and yellowing, but is overall very smart.
