This rare booklet describes a range of stage effects created by the professional music hall magician Hermalin. He's perhaps best known as the magician whose act Houdini purchased to move into stage illusions. Aptly, one of the adverts in the back of the book is a full-page ad for Houdini's Rope Ties and Escapes.

Condition: Very good, some minor wear to the spine, staple has rusted and pulled through title page, pasted in illustration creased, some fading to back cover.
