This extremely rare book is numbered 2 of just 25 copies produced. It is not clear if the full 25 were produced by Granville, who bound them himself, the only other copy known to exist was number 1, which was Eddie Dawes' copy.
 
The subtitle is "A Complete Record of from The Burnley Express and The Nelson Leader". It contains hundreds of transcribed or photocopied entries related to magician who visited the area from 1877 onwards and covers most well-known touring magicians of the golden age including Houdini and Lafayette.
 
Condition: Very good, some very minor wear and a few marks, endpapers are coming unstuck slightly.
