This 1906 first edition was written by Selbit (Percy Tibbles), the inventor of the sawing a person in half illusion. It contains explanations of conjuring tricks, a ventriloquism script and a fantastic "who's who" type section with mini-biographies and photographs of magicians from the time, many now quite obscure. Adverts include Hamleys, Roterberg, The Magic Circle and a price list for Ornums. It's a very entertaining read.

Condition: Good/Fair, some wear and marks to the covers and spine. Has some pencil additions and yellowing and foxing to endpapers and pages. Binding still sound.
