This 1906 first edition was written by Selbit (Percy Tibbles), the inventor of the sawing a person in half illusion. It contains explanations of conjuring tricks, a ventriloquism script and a fantastic "who's who" type section with mini-biographies and photographs of magicians from the time, many now quite obscure. Adverts include Hamleys, Roterberg, The Magic Circle and a price list for Ornums. It's a very entertaining read.
