Toby the Sapient Pig was one of a group of so called "educated animals" who could peform unbelievable feats including reading, writing and maths thorugh the aid of selecting cards. Toby was one of the best known and was even talented enough to write his own autobiography which was sold as a pitch book at his performances in the early 1800s. How many believed he actually wrote his story is not recorded! This is a lovely pocket sized reproduction of Toby's book.
