Written under the pseudonym "Elbiquet", this is Branson's second book exploring conjuring methods and techniques. It is particularly important due to its sections detailing Indian conjuring including one of the earliest explanations of the Indian cups and balls. This copy has a lovely bookplate from J. B. Findlay and a smart retailers sticker from Will Goldston on the inside front cover.

Condition: Very good, some yellowing to end papers, wear and slight fading to spine, a few pages have small creases, no frontispiece (possibly as issued), overall a really nice copy.
