This scarce book is from the Derby conjurer James Carl. Godfather to Fu Manchu and performer at Maskelyne's, he only wrote two books, both of which were produced in very low numbers. Lovely book with many illustrations. Signed by Dan Bellman on inside front cover with a retailer's sticker from Henri De'Seevah.
Condition: Fair/poor, spine is well worn and cracked with covers becoming detached from each other and text block, covers are marked and worn with remnants of a pasted label at top of front cover, internal condition generally good with some foxing.
