This charming book describes and illustrates the history of playing cards. No direct magic content, but of great interest to those interested in playing cards, their makers and their significance through time. Beautifully illustrated with colour prints.

Condition: Good, ex-library from the British National Films Ltd. (later Central Television) with associated stamps and stickers throughout. This copy was likely used as a reference for many scenes in classic British films. Binding feels slightly loose, but all pages are still well bound, tape mark on spine and onto covers, some other marks to covers.
