This early book is from the magician Norman Hunter, who later became well-known as the author of the Professor Branestawm stories. Some great creative effects in here as well as some interesting adverts from the period. Scarce edition of one of the famous (or infamous) "Yellow Peril" series of books from C. Arthur Pearson. Condition: Fair, spine paper has been lost and boards detached, as is typical for this series of books. Boards have some loss and wear and have been reattached to the text block with tape on the inside and outside. Inscription on title page. A good reading copy.
