This was a pioneering book on card magic with contributions from Paul Valadon and Charles Bertram among others. Included superb photographs. Scarce edition of one of the famous (or infamous) "Yellow Peril" series of books from C. Arthur Pearson. Full of great tricks and fascinating magic adverts from the time. Condition: For a book in this series it is very good, with a majority of the very fragile spine paper still intact. There is some loss and wear to the spine though, some minor wear and neat inscriptions. An unusually nice copy given the style of binding.
