Bringing together hundreds of beautifully illustrated articles on magic and allied subjects from the Scientific American, this huge book was published in 1897. Much of the magic content was written by the great William Ellsworth Robinson before he became Chung Ling Soo. An essential magic book and a joy to read and browse.

Condition: Poor, this is a very well used, well worn copy with very loose binding, some pages loose, some pages with paper tape repairs. All pages are present. It can be a reading copy but would need to be handled with care. A good candidate for rebinding.
