This is an early pocket guide to conjuring written by the society conjurer Frank Desmond and published in 1897. Part of the Saxon's Everybody Series, it describes how to perform a wide range of magic tricks with early illustrations, many of which have been reproduced from Hamley's blocks. A charming and uncommon little book.
Condition: Good/Fair. There are overall marks and wear, crease to front cover cloth, back end paper cracked but board still attached, some internal marks and a few pencil additions, overall good for age.
